Brief Job Description:
A Staff Nurse provides direct patient care under the supervision of Senior Nurse, by performing assessments, planning of care, implementation and evaluation of a particular patient group on a nursing unit; medication administration including a process to verify, administer and document the medication correctly and safely based on medication order. Staff Nurse also supervises care provided by nursing support staff (i.e. Nursing Aides, Patient Movement Technicians, etc.).
Staff Nurse provides and participates patient and family education and discharge planning by utilizing the Centered Care approach in adult population. Maintains current knowledge of all aspects of the facilities safety program by attending safety related training, as mandated, upon hire and thereafter as required by facility and respond to any disaster event that occurs by coordinating with medical and paramedical staff in implementing multi-disciplinary and nursing activities for patient care. All professional activities will be performed in collaboration with other members of the medical, nursing, and hospital/clinic management staff.
Minimum Qualifications//Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Saudi Commission License as “Nurse”
