   Job Purpose Jobs at this level are responsible for driving relationships and supporting negotiations with suppliers to increase benefits for STC such as timely delivery, lower prices for goods/services. They are also responsible for reviewing analysis of current purchasing and commercial processes and identifying improvements to existing methods
    Key   Responsibilities Manages the day to day team operations within a specified scope, by undertaking related work processes and ensuring accuracy.

Drives relationships with suppliers to increase benefits for STC such as timely delivery and lower prices for goods and services.

Supports in negotiations with suppliers on the prices of goods and services using standard contracts and set variables adhering to procurement and commercial policies.

Drives the process of analysing/selecting suppliers, issuing purchase orders, invoices and follows – up as necessary to meet agreed service levels.

Supports in setting basic standards of quality of goods/service to be adhered by the goods/service providers.

Evaluates technical inputs in the creation of complex or unusual contracts as required.

Provides technical advice to resolve medium to complex cases and resolves any purchasing issues in the most cost – effective manner.

Reviews analysis of current purchasing and commercial processes and identifies improvements to existing methods and follows up on the implementation wherever appropriate.

Ensures the maintenance of accurate records and ensures that a complete audit trail is maintained for all purchases.

Plans, organizes and prioritizes work tasks to ensure that resources are used effectively and work is completed within set deadlines.

Builds and develops relationships internally with the Finance Sector and Legal Affairs General Directorate to resolve commercial and contracting problems and queries in a quick and effective manner.

Supports team members and resolves routine queries to ensure work continuity.

Liaises with other supervisors to build effective working relationships and identifies synergies.

Qualifications/

Certification

    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Engineering
Required

Experience

         4 – 6 years of experience in the Procurement and Supplier Management
Desired Skills & Knowledge Intermediate proficiency in financial acumen

Intermediate proficiency in supplier relationship management

Intermediate proficiency in negotiation skills

Intermediate proficiency in analytical skills

Job Purpose
Jobs at this level are responsible for assisting seniors in advanced and technically complex data, information analysis by managing data collection, performing complex analyses and reviewing all documented reports. They are also responsible for assisting seniors in monitoring customer Service Level Agreements and highlight any breach of SLAs.
 
Core Responsibilities
  • Manages the day to day team operations within a specified scope, by undertaking related work processes and ensuring accuracy.
  • Allocates work plans to the team to ensure work continuity and prepares necessary reports for decision making and strategic planning purposes.
  • Assists seniors in planning STC’s analysis and reporting projects, by providing all relevant statistics and documentation, in a timely manner.
  • Assists in performing complex analysis of STC’s business, market and performance data and reviews all relevant reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Manages implementation of analysis and reporting procedures in compliance with all relevant procedural, documentation and legislative requirements.
  • Conducts feasibility studies, participates in preparing market forecasts and activity plans, and assists in tracking progress and business outcomes.
  • Liaises with key stakeholders both within and outside the organization to ensure that all analysis and reporting related matters are addressed and managed efficiently.
  • Assists seniors in monitoring the compliance with customer SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and highlights any breach of SLA’s to seniors.
  • Assists in coordinating with international tariffs/traders on a regular basis and assists in monitoring the trading positions, in order to ensure no breach or over – exposure to their authorized positions.
  • Analyses profitability of potential business opportunities, in order to ensure effective decision making.
  • Supports team members and resolves routine queries to ensure work continuity.
  • Liaises with other supervisors to build effective working relationships and identifies synergies.
Qualifications/
Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, or any other related major.
Years
of Experience
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Nature
of Experience
Prior experience in setting & designing corporate performance KPI’s, in addition to business analysis & reporting.
