Job Requirements:

Educational: 

-PhD

Experience:

-PhD-no experience

-MA/MS-Minimum of four (4) years experience

-PG Diploma-Minimum of five (5) years expereince

-BS-Minimum of seven (7) years experience

Training:

NA

Knowledge:

-International Standards on Mental Health Care

-Standards of Medical Ethics and Professional Conduct

-KFMC Policies and Procedures

Other Requirements:

-Must hold a valid license from the Saudi Council for Health Specialties

-Pass the KFMC Credentialing

Educational Requirements:

• Successful completion of Sub-specialty fellowship training approved by SCHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties)  and acceptable to KFMC with aminimum of one year of the sub-specialty training in one of the recognized countries in Saudi Arabia.
• Certification by the appropriate subspecialty, if one exists in the certifying country.
• Training and post certification expereince equal to or greater than seven years in a secondary or tertiary care facility
• Independent practice in the Sub Specialty

Experience:

minimum of 3 years experience after the Highest Degree obtained

Training:

• One year of intemship in a recognized training program
• Completed the residency training and hold the Saudi Board certificate or its equivalents (e.g. Arab Board, American Board, Canadian Board)
• Subspecialty fellowship training in the related subspecialty in a recognized traning program
