صراحة – فيصل القحطاني : أعلنت جامعة الملك عبدالله للعلوم والتقنية عن توفر وظيفة شاغرة بمسمى رئيس إدارة المباني (Building Management Lead).
Major Responsibilities
Leads the Building Management function which assumes the full responsibility of buildings proponency in Campus and Research & Technology Park
Leads a team of 11 members each responsible of designated building(s) based on functional and geographical location.
Manages the day-to-day interface with facilities users such as deans, faculty, students, staff, and Research and Technology Park tenants regarding issues related to facilities
Leads the Buildings Management Team to provide improvement schemes for operations efficiency and energy consumption
Compares original engineering design parameters, including electrical/mechanical equipment systems, with current operating conditions to ensure compliance to original design intent and identifies areas of enhancement
Develops and pursue the daily buildings condition inspection program and issues the required work permits
Develops and leads the implementation of a campus-wide Energy Conservation and other sustainability Programs
Develops and monitors KPIs for Energy and Sustainability Performance in Campus and Research & Technology Park
Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers and service providers.
Liaising with suppliers, contractors and relevant stakeholders (e.g. HSE, E&PM and University Projects).
Ensures safety compliance of all non-research activities
Troubleshooting and problem-solving of the systems
Leads the team in performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all buildings management incidents and ensure the implementation of the findingsCovers for the Operations Manager position and performs all other duties assigned.

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline or equivalent

8-10 years of experience in Facilities Management, Mechanical, HVAC, energy conservation, energy modeling, and customers interface.
