Building Projects Development Specialist Professional

Functional responsibilities
1. Coordinate the planning, organization, and implementation of engineering projects within constraints of specific objectives and target dates as specified by Operations management or the organisation in general.

2. Oversee that projects are carried out in a manner which does not have a negative impact upon operational capability.

3. Contribute to successful project completion, which includes solving technical issues with the contractors and other local authority requirements, participates in the resolution of issues such as conflict on design requirements, unsuitability of material, and difficult coordination requirements.

4. Support Building Projects Manager in leading negotiation with vendors.

5. Coordinate project activities with other operating or engineering units to facilitate participation of appropriate staff in project completion.

6. Review project-related documentation to ensure its accuracy.

7. Assist in determining project objectives to contribute to the development of a comprehensive project design.

8. Monitor and track project expenditure ensuring budgets are adhered to; highlight any deviations from the agreed plan and suggest corrective action.
