Functional Responsibilities:
Assist in developing corporate strategies, by collecting appropriate data in order for analysis to be undertaken, including market surveys, forecasts by third parties where necessary

2. Analyse data using standard analytical and statistical techniques and procedures in order to observe trends and draw conclusions.

3. Carry out analysis for developing strategic options and provide inputs for recommendation

4. Co-ordinate with Business unit and their leadership teams to understand business unit level strategic options for improved contribution through differentiation from competitors

5. Analyze trends, including market / industry competitiveness, macro-economic conditions and regulatory/compliance to support in making adjustments to the overall commercial strategy, as and when required

6. Conduct analysis on feasibility of strategy and analyses impact of strategy to gain a complete picture for management,

7. Develop external relationships with industry consultants to bring an outside perspective

8. Carry out trend scouting to find new focus areas, ideas, concepts, products, services etc.

9. Perform other duties as requested by higher levels of supervision
