Qualifications and Experience

Accredited One-year diploma in HR or a related field, with 2 years of experience.

Accredited Two-year diploma in HR or a related field, no experience required.

Job Purpose

To support the daily administration of Personnel department activities such as employee leave, employee probationary and annual evaluations, counseling, conflict resolutions, employee file maintenance, as well as grievances and disciplinary issues.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Log in to Enayah (HR services hotline) at all applicable times to answer employee queries, resolving or escalating as necessary.
  • Coordinate with Enayah supervisor to respond to Enayah e-mail inbox in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain records of escalated Enayah queries to aid in their timely resolution as per approved SLA.
  • Coordinate with Enayah supervisor to update quarterly reports for Enayah.
  • Monitor and process probationary and annual period evaluations on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in reviewing contract renewal and amendments for all KAAUH employees.
  • Document promotion, salary adjustments, change of job title, and change in contract benefits.
  • Ensure exit interviews are properly documented and available for analysis.
  • Prepare employment certificates requested by employees.
  • Process all types of leaves as well as end of employment.
  • Maintain and add documents to employee file in order to keep the file up to date.
  • Perform HR reception duties.
  • Organize and update employee files ensuring they are complete as per relevant accreditation standards.
  • Assist in addressing employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
  • Assist in conducting investigations of employees for disciplinary matters if necessary, write reports regarding the investigations and assist in making disciplinary recommendations in consultation with the Personnel Manager to ensure transparency and consistency.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of employee information and records.
  • Prepare all types of reports periodically and as required.
  • Respects patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture.
  • Participates in and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.
