General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques Launches 3D Interactive Maps Initiative

In a significant step aimed at enhancing the experience of visitors and pilgrims, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched the 3D Interactive Maps initiative for the Two Holy Mosques.
The initiative is designed to facilitate the movement of worshippers and visitors by enabling them to easily access their destinations within the Grand Mosque, the Prophet’s Mosque, and the surrounding areas with greater efficiency and convenience.
The interactive maps connect routes leading to the Grand Mosque with the holy sites, hotels, and surrounding vital facilities, helping improve traffic flow and reduce congestion challenges, particularly during peak times.
The initiative also offers a package of advanced digital services, including user-friendly interfaces, locations of religious lessons, Quran memorization حلقات, fatwa and guidance offices, as well as weather updates, Tawaf and Sa’i areas, and restroom locations.
In addition, the service enables users to monitor occupancy levels in prayer areas and various facilities, contributing to crowd management and organized movement within the Two Holy Mosques. The service is also integrated with the “Nusuk” card to enhance the digital integration of services provided to pilgrims and visitors.
The Authority confirmed that this initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to utilize modern technologies to improve service quality, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at enhancing the Hajj and Umrah experience.
