Qiddiya Partners with Google Cloud to Build AI-Powered Smart Entertainment City Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia

Qiddiya Investment Company has announced a major expansion of its strategic collaboration with Google Cloud to develop the digital backbone of one of the world’s largest entertainment megaprojects, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s ambition to build a fully integrated smart entertainment ecosystem.
Under the agreement, Qiddiya will leverage Google Cloud technologies to power its large-scale entertainment destination, with Master Works acting as the strategic integration partner responsible for implementing and unifying the digital infrastructure across the project.
The Qiddiya project is a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, launched in 2016 to diversify the economy away from oil dependence by developing sectors such as tourism, entertainment, and infrastructure.
While flagship destinations such as Six Flags Qiddiya and Aquarabia are already open to visitors, the broader Qiddiya City continues to expand across 360 square kilometers and more than 20 districts, integrating sports facilities, entertainment zones, cultural assets, and digital services within a unified smart-city framework.
The partnership will utilize Google Cloud’s data analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities as a real-time operational engine for Qiddiya, enabling instant insights into construction progress, visitor demand patterns, and operational efficiency. This shift is expected to reduce decision-making cycles from weeks to minutes, significantly enhancing responsiveness and scalability.
According to Qiddiya’s Chief Information Officer, the collaboration aims to deliver a seamless digital experience connecting all entertainment assets across the Kingdom, supported by Master Works’ integration expertise and Google Cloud’s advanced technologies to transform Qiddiya into a fully data-driven smart city.
The initiative is built around three core technological pillars. The first is an AI Factory powered by the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, designed to transform visitor behavior, spending patterns, and mobility data into actionable insights that enable highly personalized guest experiences and predictive crowd management.
The second pillar is the agentic AI system “Q-Brain,” which evolves Qiddiya’s internal AI platform into an operational co-pilot capable of supporting staff with real-time insights and autonomous task execution, improving complex decision-making across facilities.
The third pillar is a unified data platform built on BigQuery, serving as a single source of truth by integrating data across all entertainment destinations, ensuring high-speed processing and efficient management of a large-scale smart city ecosystem.
Google Cloud’s regional leadership emphasized that the integration of global-scale cloud infrastructure and advanced AI technologies will enable Qiddiya to transform big data into actionable intelligence, delivering a next-generation user experience aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions.
Master Works, as the strategic integration partner, will ensure seamless deployment of these global solutions, building a scalable and resilient infrastructure capable of operating one of the world’s most advanced entertainment cities.
