Saudi Arabia Launchs Pilot “Tourism Package Visa” Service to Streamline Visitor Travel

Saudi Arabia has launched the pilot phase of its “Tourism Package Visa” service, a new initiative designed to enhance the visitor experience by simplifying travel arrangements through integrated travel packages offered by approved travel and tourism service providers.
The initiative is the result of a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, and the Insurance Authority, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to improving tourism services and delivering a seamless travel experience.
Under the new service, eligible visitors can book an all-inclusive travel package that combines tourist visa processing, airline tickets, accommodation at licensed hospitality facilities, and the option to add tourism experiences, activities, and events through a single booking process.
Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb said the service represents another milestone in enhancing travel to Saudi Arabia, enabling visitors to plan their journeys more efficiently while allowing tourism partners to offer more comprehensive and attractive travel packages that encourage longer stays and greater exploration of the Kingdom’s destinations.
The Ministry noted that the pilot phase includes specific operational requirements for participating travel providers, including advanced digital capabilities and 24/7 customer support, ensuring high service standards and strengthening visitor confidence.
The Tourism Package Visa builds on Saudi Arabia’s broader tourism initiatives, including the eVisa, visa-on-arrival, and transit visa programs, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a leading global tourism destination. Saudi Arabia welcomed more than 29 million international visitors in 2025.
