Under the Patronage of the Minister of Energy, SPARK Signs Agreement to Develop 168 Ready-Built and Specialized Factories

Saudi Arabia’s energy ecosystem has taken another significant step toward strengthening local content and expanding national industrial capabilities, following the signing of a strategic agreement by King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) to develop a ready-built and specialized factories project aimed at supporting supply chains and enabling investors to establish and operate their facilities efficiently.
The agreement was signed under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, between King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) and Abra Al Mamlakah Real Estate Company, a subsidiary of Abra Al Mamlakah Holding Group.
The project aligns with the Kingdom’s efforts to localize energy-related products and services, while supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to develop the energy sector and increase its contribution to the national economy.
Under the agreement, Abra Al Mamlakah Real Estate Company will develop an integrated industrial complex comprising 168 ready-built and specialized factories across a total area exceeding 214,000 square meters. The facilities are designed to meet the needs of local and international companies operating within the energy sector and its supporting supply chains.
The project aims to attract global manufacturers and suppliers by providing advanced industrial facilities, flexible operational solutions, and cost-effective infrastructure that enable businesses to launch operations quickly and efficiently.
In addition, the industrial complex will offer modern facilities and support services that meet the highest industrial standards, enhancing SPARK’s attractiveness as a leading global destination for energy-related industries and investments.
SPARK is recognized as one of the world’s premier energy-focused industrial cities, offering integrated infrastructure, logistics services, and investment solutions that support business growth and promote the localization of high-value industries and services.
The project also benefits from a strategic location near major ports, airports, and transportation networks, contributing to more efficient supply chains and strengthening the ability of local and international companies to serve energy markets across Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
This initiative represents an extension of the Ministry of Energy’s “Nawtin” localization initiative, which seeks to increase local content, empower national and international companies, create investment opportunities, expand the supplier base, and support the Kingdom’s long-term economic development goals.
