Turki Alalshikh Announces Six Kings Slam Return to Riyadh Season 2026 with Tennis’ Biggest Stars

Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki Alalshikh, has announced the return of the Six Kings Slam as part of Riyadh Season 2026, with the tournament scheduled for October 21, 22, and 24.
The third edition of the prestigious exhibition event will feature six of the world’s top tennis players, including two-time defending champion Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, and Australia’s Alex de Minaur, who will make his tournament debut.
The competition will be broadcast worldwide on Netflix, expanding its global reach and further cementing its status as one of the premier showcase events in international tennis.
Expressing his excitement, Carlos Alcaraz said he was delighted to return to Riyadh, describing the tournament as a unique event with an exceptional atmosphere and a chance to compete alongside the world’s elite players.
Defending champion Jannik Sinner also welcomed the opportunity to return and defend his title, praising the tournament’s organization and distinctive experience.
Novak Djokovic highlighted the warm reception he has always received in Riyadh, noting that the Six Kings Slam has quickly become a standout event on the global tennis calendar.
Taylor Fritz said he was looking forward to competing again after enjoying last year’s experience, while Alexander Zverev praised the tournament’s continuous growth and increasing international profile.
Making his debut in the event, Alex de Minaur expressed enthusiasm about competing in Riyadh for the first time after hearing so much about the tournament.
The tournament will follow a knockout format, with winners advancing to the next round until the final, alongside a third-place playoff. A dedicated fan zone featuring interactive experiences and entertainment activities will also be available throughout the event.
Since its launch in 2024, the Six Kings Slam has attracted many of the world’s highest-ranked players, with Jannik Sinner winning both previous editions. The tournament has established itself as one of the most prestigious exhibition events in world tennis.
The event forms part of Riyadh Season’s expanding portfolio of international sporting events, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading global destination for major sports and entertainment competitions.
